Blog reviews

March 26, 2007 at 8:27 pm (Blog Reviews)

There’s this meme going around the internet now where you’re supposed to list five blogs that you read, and pass it along and blah blah blah. I haven’t gotten the request yet, but it’s put me in mind of some of the things I’d like to do here, mainly to review and explore uses of 2.0 type sites, mostly individual blogs.

First review:

Infodoodads

Infodoodads, as far as I can tell, is a pretty new blog. Nevertheless, it’s increasing quickly in popularity within the small circle of library blogs. The blog has a nice focus on 2.0 technology, which wins it a place in my blogroll. So far the reviewers have examined quite a few interesting and diverse sites. For the most part the reviews are positive, but when they see something they don’t like so much, they’re not afraid to say so. I hope they have good support in their organization – the writing is pleasant and conversational without being too wordy.

Hey Thanks for the kudos! We may not post much this week, as all 5 of us will be at ACRL. Our goal is to review at least 5 tools a week (thus the 5 members).

That’s a good goal – alas I find myself blogging solo most of the time.
